You hand us a trip. This is what happens to it. Last updated 2 September 2026.
When you begin a brief, we receive what you type into the form: your name, email, travel dates, where you are flying from, who is traveling, your budget, and any itinerary or notes you paste. If you tell us about points balances, we keep those with the rest of the trip.
When you run a free teardown, we receive the itinerary you paste and your email address.
When you buy something, Stripe handles the payment. We never see your card number. Stripe tells us your email and what you bought so we can deliver it.
The site uses Vercel Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.
A person. Every brief and every intake is read by John, who plans the trip. Research is done with AI, and your itinerary text is sent to the AI provider we use (Anthropic) to draft the review. It is not used to train their models.
We do not sell, rent, or share your details with anyone else. Nobody outside Shiori and the services named on this page ever sees your trip.
Intake and teardown submissions arrive in our email, where they stay as the working record of your trip. Teardown leads are also kept in a small database so we can send the short follow-up sequence described below. Finished briefs are stored so your on-trip concierge and booklet keep working through your travel dates.
We keep trip records for two years after your travel dates, in case you come back for another trip, then delete them. Email us sooner and we delete them sooner.
After a free teardown you may get up to three short emails over a week about what a full review would add. Submitting a brief stops them. Replying to any of them with "stop" stops them. We do not send newsletters.
Write to intake@getshiori.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We answer within a few days and delete on request, except for payment records we are required to keep.
